Candidate must be dependable and reliable.Computer proficiency in MS Office, Excel, e-mail, Adobe and familiarity with restaurant POS applications.Requires moderate physical efforts: standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting of weights up to 50 pounds.Must maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene.Must be adaptable and abide by the culture of the company.Must be able to work holiday’s and weekends.Bilingual in Spanish is desired but not mandatory.Must demonstrate sound judgment, decision making ability, and ability to work under pressure.Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.Must possess enthusiasm, integrity, and willingness to learn.Attention to detail ability to multi-task and have excellent managerial skills.Must be able to work in conditions that involve, noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.Able to read, write, speak an understand the English language.Ability to effectively manage and inspire a team.At least three (3) years’ experience managing upscale restaurant management.Bachelor’s degree highly preferred but not required.Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Food and Beverage Company Manager.Knowledge of wine and spirits, preferred.Candidate must carry our managerial responsibilities in accordance with the company policies, procedures and applicable laws.This action will only be in place if there is no other personnel that can be scheduled In the event, there is no adequate staff to cover a shift, the Restaurant Manager will be required to work that shift.Sets the standards of professional appearance through clean, neatly groomed, and well-kept company uniforms and overall professional image.Keep inventory of all equipment in order and make sure is stored in their appropriate areas and rotated in the proper manner.Ensure restaurant is in readiness position for any possible inspections.Attend in-service training and education sessions assigned.Follow and reinforce safety regulations, reporting injuries or any unsafe conditions and work practices to the Managing Director.Comply and reinforce the department’s dress code.Handles food in a manner that is consistent with local health department guidelines.Recognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat products.Manage ordering and receiving, menu planning and development, cost control, waste management, and staff training procedures and kitchen according to cleaning schedules and procedures.Prioritize and delegates tasks in the kitchen ensuring speed and quality of the menu.Train new workers and work with HR in filling staffing gaps.We offer competitive benefits packages and a fun rewarding work environment and growth. There is a Sunday Brunch offered, and from the packed parking lot and crowd inside, it must be good as I didn't see many empty seats.The Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn is in the heart of Lambertville, New Jersey. The rooms were large, roomy, and comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the Delaware River. The entire staff worked as one to ensure a perfect day, which it was. The entire process of planning the 'big day', was nicely set up with several food tastings included. The organized chaos of serving a very large group of family / friends proceeded very smoothly and was completed with precision. The sunset over the Delaware River, coupled with the colors of the twilight sky, added to the overall ambiance and feeling of the evening. The ballroom was laid out in such a way that no one felt crowded, even with a 10 piece band. ![]() The Maitre D', Neal, was there at every turn obliging any request that the we, and the bride to be, had made. Was here for an August wedding for our daughter, and everything went off without a hitch. ![]()
